In the new and long-awaited book, Chevostik and Uncle Kuzya go to the observatory! Here they await a fascinating introduction to the celestial bodies that adorn our night sky. Together with your favorite characters, you will look through the telescope at the Moon and the planets of the Solar System, distant stars, and comets. Why do we often see only the golden crescent of the moon if the Moon is round? How do planets differ from stars, and where do their names come from? What is a light-year, and why is one Earth year equal to four Mercurian years? Which planet in the Solar System is the largest, and which is the most beautiful? Can you see stars during the day, and where does a comet's tail come from? What are an orbit, a satellite, meteors, and an eclipse? As always, Uncle Kuzya has answers to the most curious children's questions and fascinating stories about astronomy.
