Vladislav Krapivin
How the "Orion" Set Out on Its Journey
This collection of stories was first published in the distant year of 1962. At that time, Vladislav Krapivin's most important books had not yet been written, there were no illustrations by Evgeny Medvedev and Evgenia Sterligova, there was no "Caravella," and many of us were not even born yet. But the boys on Krapivin's pages were there. In their boyish way, they dreamed of travel and flight, secrets and adventures, of course; they were friends, of course, and they were happy.
The first edition of "The Flight of the Orion" has long since become a bibliographic rarity. We are once again making it available to a wide readership.
