The story of a boy who will never grow up was written over a century ago, but it remains incredibly popular with readers. And it has been illustrated so many times that it is impossible to count. Massimiliano Freccato is one of Italy's finest contemporary artists. Even as a child, he dreamed of learning to draw so beautifully that his own drawings would amaze him. Today, Freccato's series of works, the most famous of which is "The Guardians of Macerata," are popular in many countries around the world. Following the tremendous success of his illustrations for K. Collodi's "The Adventures of Pinocchio," Freccato once again turned to the classics of children's literature. His original interpretation of J. M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" captivates the imagination. The combination of different drawing, painting, and graphic styles and techniques, as well as mischief and lyricism, gives the book a dynamic character. At last, Russian readers have had the opportunity to rediscover their favorite fairy tale and add to their collection of books featuring the work of the remarkable artist Massimiliano Freccato.
