What is the old sailor, owner of a bald and blind rooster, hiding? Does he know something about Sally Jones? Or does he need something from her? Uncovering the secret, one may find themselves on the threshold of a much greater and more complex one, and also - at the beginning of a new journey. Jacob Wegelius's books are stories of travels, misfortunes, and fortunate escapes. Despite the striking blend of genres, the main find here is the heroine. A gorilla, thinking no less intelligently than a human, able to write, but unable to speak, her life is a huge, almost endless adventure, continuing from book to book.
