In a perfectly ordinary English family lives a cat named Mauve—a little absent-minded, slightly timid, moderately curious, and very, very sweet. Every now and then Mauve finds herself in some awkward situation, but fortunately, there is always a happy ending.
Judith Kerr came up with the first story about Mauve in 1970. Since then, more than ten books about this wonderful cat have been published, six of which are included in this collection:
You can read about Mauve's further adventures in the second collection, "Mauve. New Stories from the Life of a Wonderful Cat".
