"Mulle Mek Builds a House" is the fourth book in the Mulle Mek – The Handy Man series. In it, Master Mulle and his faithful dog Buffa tell and show young readers how to build a real house from scratch – how to skillfully lay a strong foundation, lay the floors, build sturdy walls, and make a roof that wouldn't leak in the rain. And besides, the house must turn out cozy and warm. So what is the secret?

The Mulle Mek – The Handy Man series is a classic of modern Swedish children's literature. First of all, it is aimed at the youngest readers who are taking their first steps in getting acquainted with technology, are interested in the design of various mechanisms, and definitely want to know how things work.

Stories about Master Mulle and his dog Buffa have been hugely popular in Scandinavia for two decades now, and Mulle himself is loved no less than the famous characters of Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales – for his resourcefulness, ingenuity, and unwavering optimism.
