The heroes of Sofya Prokofieva's books are ordinary children who find themselves in incredible stories. Alyoshka from "The Treasure Under the Old Oak Tree" met Lady Greed herself, who showered him with candies, gave him a new bicycle, and promised him so much more! And Sashka from "The Secret of the Forgotten Attic" found a spell in the Magic Encyclopedia that made his lies come true and turned a failing grade in his school diary into an A. But, of course, it's not that simple, and the children will have to learn that friends are more important than any treasure and that telling the truth is not so scary after all.
