Do you know what the stray cat Eldwin, the know-it-all magpie Skylar, and the clumsy frog Gilbert have in common? All three are familiars, that is, animals who possess magic, loyal friends and helpers of human wizards. And Eldwin, Skylar, and Gilbert are also the Three of Prophecy. The stars have ordained them to save the kingdom from the evil witch-hare Paxahara.

War has begun. Paxahara's legions sow terror and destruction throughout the kingdom. The witch is almost invulnerable, for she holds the Wandering Citadel in her paws. There is only one way to deal with Paxahara - to gather the Circle of Heroes. The seven heirs of the animals that ruled Ogrum eight hundred years ago must stand around the ancient stone with inscriptions and summon the Wandering Citadel. However, these seven heirs still need to be found, and this is beyond the power of the human wizards, who are still deprived of magic.

But it is within the power of the Three of Prophecy! Eldwin, Skylar, and Gilbert set out on another dangerous journey. The familiars have very little time to find the heirs and bring them to the stone. And everything is further complicated by the fact that a traitor seems to have infiltrated their united team...
