How can four boys entertain themselves if boredom has overcome them during the holidays? For example, they can fantasize—what would happen if gravity, or air resistance, or Archimedes' principle could be canceled… And even better—if they could invent a device that could change the laws of physics itself. What this "thought experiment" will lead the boys to and what amazing and dangerous adventures await them is told in the novella by Kirill Dombrovsky with illustrations by Genrikh Valck.
