A glassblower lives in a tiny house in a poor little village. His wife dreams of a better life for her children. One day the family goes to a fair, where the children disappear in the festive bustle. Only a fortune-teller knew that their fate was foretold. She must cross the River of Oblivion to reach the City of Desires and fight evil.
This is an extraordinarily poetic fairy tale about where our desires lead us, for their fulfillment does not always make us happy.
