The book by the remarkable children's writer Sergey Georgiev consists of two parts: "Olden Times" and "The Battles and Combats of Field Marshal Pulkin". The first part is a collection of unusual fairy tales with unexpected endings. To figure out who is good and who is evil in them, you have to think about it carefully. And then you have to make sure you don't burst out laughing when you figure it out.
In the second part, a battle-hardened soldier tells the story of the resourceful Field Marshal Pulkin, who can drive out a witch from the swamp, teach giants to play "Ladushki", and even frighten a ferocious lion. Well, frighten him. If the whole battery calls you "bunny" and tries to pet you, you can't help but believe it and get scared. And surely no one can run away from a Dragon as heroically as Field Marshal Pulkin. All this, you know, is the honest truth!

The children's literature guide "KidReader.ru" published Mikhail Yasnov's review of Sergey Georgiev's book "The Miracle Bogatyrs".
"Georgiev's stories are full of small details – we see nature up close and from within, and you want to look at these pictures for a long time and study them closely, savoring every little thing. We can feel how all these quick but clearly drawn sketches breathe with kindness."
