Larry Mystery has a new, unexpected hobby—he suddenly decides to get a dog. After all, it’s a great way to meet a young aristocrat who walks her poodle in the park near the Tower. And so, a restless puppy named Sherlock arrives at Larry’s home, giving his owner no peace for a moment. On top of that, Larry has to take the dog on another business trip, as the detective team is urgently flying to Amsterdam. Agatha and Larry are set to investigate the mysterious disappearance of an exceptionally valuable rough diamond. Time is running out: as soon as the criminal hands the diamond over to be cut, the half-million-pound treasure will vanish forever. And who knows—perhaps a dog’s nose will help the detectives track down the diamond…
