"You Are Walking on the Carpet" is a new collection of novellas by young, talented writer Maria Boteva. ...Before you know it, your friend has grown up, and for some reason, she thinks you are still very small. Will this really end your friendship? "You Are Walking on the Carpet" is a story about the friendship of two girls, about everyday life in the countryside, about the first teenage rebellions, and about sincere support. ...One day, Dad brings home a puppy. Well, not exactly a puppy—it’s more of a little mishap: so small that it fits in the palm of your hand, sleeps, eats, and does nothing else. It’s almost embarrassing to take such a thing out for a walk. People will see it and laugh. But it turns out that when you have someone to care for, your life changes. And not just yours—the whole family’s. This is the story of the novella "A Few Frames for Grandpa". For older schoolchildren. 2nd edition, stereotype.
