About the Author
Peter Brown was born and raised in New Jersey. From childhood, he loved making up stories, drawing whimsical characters and imagining the situations they found themselves in. Peter began writing as a teenager. While studying illustration at the College of Art and Design, his love of words and pictures inspired him to take several children's book courses. Soon he realized he had found his calling.
After graduating, Peter moved to New York to be closer to the publishing industry. He wrote his first book, "Dodo's Flight," while working on animated television shows. After the success of the first edition, Peter quickly wrote the second and third books, and his career as a children's book author and illustrator quickly took off.
Since then, Peter has written and illustrated many children's books and received several awards. He now lives in Brooklyn.
