This graphic novel will introduce you to the history of world art. You will meet legendary artists from all times and nations, learn their secrets and the secrets of their craft, and discover many inspiring moments from the lives of the greats.
Armed with masterful graphics and impeccable erudition, authors Gradimir and Ivana Smudža invite the reader on a dizzying journey through time, where the characters in paintings and their creators come to life, and entire eras are traversed at the speed of thought.
A captivating world of painters will open before you. Michelangelo, Vermeer, Turner, Munch, Picasso, and many others will share not only their creative quests with you, but also their everyday lives. You will see how masterpieces were born and hear firsthand what secrets and mysteries they conceal...
You will embark on this journey through time with guides—young Luna and her cat Vincent. Together with them, you will follow a red thread that intertwines the events of centuries of art history much more closely than they were in reality.
