Zemtsova's methodology helps children develop not only a system of knowledge, but also a positive attitude toward learning, confidence in their abilities, and a focus on results.
The "Pochitay-ka" books feature exercises for speech development, learning the alphabet, and reading words and sentences.
"Pochitay-ka" for children aged 5–6 will teach them to identify the sounds and letters in words, find hard and soft consonants in words, identify the stressed syllable, find the soft sign and letters that represent two sounds in words, read sentences, match them with sentence diagrams and punctuation marks, read short texts, and answer questions about their content.
Knowledge is best acquired, and skills and abilities reinforced, through play. Each "Pochitay-ka" book contains several lessons with engaging exercises and stickers.
Each lesson is designed in a consistent color scheme and includes:
- two exercises on a new topic;
- a "recess" with a simpler exercise unrelated to the topic;
- homework to reinforce what has been learned.
Recommended for use with children in kindergarten and at home.
