The story of the extraordinary kindness of a seven-year-old boy, written by Anglo-American writer Frances Hodgson Burnett, has been capturing the hearts of children and adults for over a hundred years. And so many artists have illustrated it! We are pleased to offer you a magnificent gift edition with illustrations by the renowned English artist Graham Rust.
Graham Rust was born in 1942 in Hertfordshire, England. He studied at the Polytechnic School of Art on Regent Street, as well as the Central School of Art and Craft in London and the National Academy of Arts in New York, and traveled extensively.
Graham Rust achieved worldwide fame thanks to his frescoes and ceiling paintings, which adorn buildings in Europe, America, and the Middle East.
Graham Rust has magnificently illustrated several books, the most popular of which are F. H. Burnett's novels: "The Secret Garden", "A Little Princess", and "Little Lord Fauntleroy".
His illustrations somehow miraculously combine simplicity and elegance. The artist managed to convey the special atmosphere of romance from the turn of the last century. Lyrical landscapes, decorative interiors, expressive portraits—everything is within Graham Rust's mastery.
