The hero of this cheerful story by Astrid Lindgren is the mischievous and unruly Emil. The whole world now knows of his pranks. Who else would think of putting a frog in a food basket? Or pretending to be a poor orphan to earn a little money? Or setting fire to the feather on the farmer's hat? A real daredevil!
