Book summary: The Gruffalo (anniversary cover)

"- What's a Gruffalo?
- Oh, he's a very big beast, and I know him well..."
To escape a fox, an owl and a snake, a little mouse invents a scary Gruffalo - a beast that loves to eat foxes, owls and snakes. But will the clever little mouse be able to outsmart all the hungry predators? After all, he knows very well that there are no Gruffalos... Or are there?
Today it is hard to imagine that there were no Gruffalos before. Since its first publication in England in 1999, 26 million copies of the book about the scary beast with purple spikes on its back have already found their owners all over the world, and the hero speaks 86 foreign languages. The Russian Gruffalo is turning 15 years old. Happy birthday, Gruffalo!
A rhyming story for adults to read to children.
