Abbe dreams of having a pet. But Dad is afraid of dogs, and rabbits, as Abbe has discovered, do not live very long. But Grandpa has a badger. Could it be the perfect pet, and should they invite it home? Soon the badger takes over Abbe's room, plays hockey with an onion, digs a tunnel into the apartment below, eats all the food supplies, and falls into hibernation.
Never get a badger as a pet. Do you hear me? Never!
