The authors of the book have come up with an unusual way to introduce young children to chess. They have written a fairy tale that explains the principles of this amazing, unique game. The book clearly explains the names of the pieces and how they move on the chessboard. Illustrations and diagrams clearly show the basic techniques and rules. Young chess players will learn to plan strategies, play games, and correctly record their moves.
