Svetlik Tuchkin's school life turns into fantastic adventures. He travels from the past to the future, from the future to the past - without the help of any time machines. How? He doesn't know either! There is a fairy and a huge soap bubble inside which Svetlik's wishes come true, but for some reason always a little differently than he wants.
And the adventures of the 7-year-old boy in the first grade, which he really dislikes, begin. Cursive writing, boring math problems, mandatory reading - none of this was in kindergarten, only know yourself, play! "I wish I could go back to those happy times," Svetlik thinks one day, and together with his cousin Rodka, he comes up with a seemingly perfect plan.
Victoria Lederman (born in 1970) - winner of numerous awards, including the Krapivinsky Award. In 2019, she was awarded the "Alisa" Award, founded by Kir Bulychev, for the best children's fantasy novel ("The Theory of Improbabilities"). With the book "Svetlik Tuchkin and the Wish Bubble," she continues this tradition - an incredible story and precise psychological details make the novella akin to the best examples of Russian children's fantasy. Although, it seems that soon Victoria Lederman's own work will be considered the standard!
For younger schoolchildren.
