One day, a loud scandal broke out in the friendly family of letters: the letter Ya refused to take its place in the line and wanted to always be at the front. Both the vowels and the consonants disagreed with this. Boris Vladimirovich Zakhoder's witty and instructive poem tells how this argument ended. The cheerful and mischievous illustrations in this book were drawn by a wonderful graphic artist and renowned caricaturist Yuri Uzbyakov.
