Mr. and Mrs. Twit are the smelliest, nastiest and ugliest people in the world. And their favorite pastime is to play cruel and nasty tricks on each other. Their house has no windows, so that no one can look inside. And their garden is full of thistles and nettles, so that no child will run around there.
They also catch innocent birds and put them in a Bird Pie, and they torment their trained monkeys, making them stand on their heads all day. In short, you can already tell what a disgusting couple they are.
But the monkeys have no more strength or patience - they want to get revenge.
"The Twits" - the first translation of Roald Dahl's The Twits, which was published in 1980 with illustrations by Quentin Blake.
For primary school children.
